I guess I should weigh in on the controversy. I try to be as fair and impartial in these contests as possible, so no one can accuse me of favoritism. In that vein, I will not make a judgment on whether or not the rule violation was accidental or not. I will say that overall, the situation was handled admirably. Thanks, Hoser, for bowing out this week gracefully, and we'll see all of you next week.

On another note, whenever there's a picture that doesn't appear to be from someone's home or yard, I always try to check the exif data, but just didn't have time this week.

The top 20 is basically an "average votes per voter". In other words, if you entered 5 contests, and in each your number of votes equaled the number of voters, your score would be 1. (1 vote per voter) Therefore, it doesn't give any advantage to people who have played since the beginning vs. started this week, but it does force you to be consistent!
