film for dance

i'm going to be photographing a dance company and was wondering if anyone had a color film to recommend. i'm sure it will be low light and using an 800-1000 speed film.

I'm pretty sure you'll have to be using color negative film, I don't know of slide film that looks good above ISO 400. Fuji Superia is the only 1600 speed color film I know of, and I've only heard reviews about 400 and lower (which were good). If you're shooting 35mm the grain may be obtrusive.
