Hello all.

I'm a graphic designer who's sort of been trying to branch out into the photography world a bit. I've got a job this weekend photographing some children outdoors. I'm going to be using a Nikon SLR with a nice 60mm macro lens. I am looking for a film suggestion. I want to get something that allows for very vibrant color as I am in Massachusetts where the leaves are starting to change very nicely and I would like to utilize my location as much as possible : ).

Any comments would be great!!!

Fuji NPS 160 or Kodak Portra NC 160 would be good. If you want extra saturated colors you can get Portra VC

Hey - Thanks a lot.

160 would be the speed right?
Would I have to be concerned with the children moving too much with such a low speed?

Depends on your available light. If you are doing it during the day, 160 will be plenty. Usually for portraits you dont need much DOF.

Even if it was cloudy you would still be fine with 160.

Another thing I would think about is having a portrait lens along for this shoot. A 60mm would be fine for groups or a full body but the perspective is bad for anything closer
