Film (Travel photography)

Hi Guys, I'm new to film photography. I do a lot of traveling and this time I wanted to carry only my film camera to travel (this time and going forward), I believe in having the gear ready, I have read a lot about Portra 100 and 400 also Ektra. Any recommendation ?

What type of camera do you carry, and what kind of pictures do you want to take? Still a variety of film left, not as much as there once was.

I will carry Canon A1 and F1 One with color and other with B&W. I want to click landscape and a bit of street. Some of them will be evening shots.

The Canon 50/1.4 will help for night shots, as will the 400 film. Great lens. Packing a couple of rolls of higher speed for really low-light is a good idea. Be careful of higher speed film goingthrough older X-ray equipment.

I prefer 100 for daytime shots. It's been a while since I shot Portra- was nice, subdued color. The Ektar is going to give more Vivid/saturated color.
