film types?

what are the better types of film out there? i will be shooting LONG exposures of stars and im wondering what would be the better type out there.

That site recommends a digital camera - HELL NO. People leave their digital cameras running overnight and get a sensor that's been overheated to slag and a battery that dies after the camera tries to process the image for a few hours straight.

...and if you continue reading, it tells you about film.

Personally, i'd rather use film for something like this myself, but, there are tons of pics on sites like flickr with digital star trails and the photographers seem to still be taking photos after.
