filters

Hey all,
I picked this filter up as protection for my lens, 14-42mm Olympus (Hoya 58mm DMC PRO1 Digital Multi-Coated UV (Ultra Violet) Filter). Everyone recommends protection for my glass. My question; is this a decent filter or should I be looking for a better quality.
I also have a 40-150mm that needs a filter as well...

Hoya is good brand, I purchased 2 marumi uv filters 52mm but I got ripped off $49 each when I could've purchased them for as low as 15-20 a piece I would search around a bit online and find the cheapest deal possible.I am very happy with the marumi ones, now for a circular polarized filter I went with B+W as someone recommend and could not be happier.

I found the same filter for you cheaper $25 bucks it ships from hong kong not sure if you need it right away.
