firestorm 07: southern california fires

me and my family were evacuated at 4 am monday morning, you could see a wall of fire about 3 miles from my house on the edge of the mountain we snuck our way back in to my neighborhood and took some quick snapshots we lost 16 homes in our neighborhood there are marines with m4 assault rifles blocking the main entrences to my town (poway) and there are humvees with 50 caliber machince guns patroling my neighborhood to stop looters, its crazy, more shots to come photobucket isnt cooperating

this is about 100 feet from my house, firefighters stoped this fire right at the edge of a neighbors house

saved the car but not the house

nope thankfully untouched there is a solid layer of ash covering everything and tons of trees down the fire cheif said they clocked a 108mph gust monday morning which is unheard of in southern california
