"Fireweed"

This panorama features the Yukon's Territorial flower in the lower and left hand corner. Photographed just several days ago overlooking a morning sunrise of the sun (rising in the north)

On the right hand side the Slave River Roaring Rapids Of The Drowned create a placid rumbling for miles around. After a spring rain fireweed shines brilliantly with the rising sun over the Slave River. A true northern sky - the sun appears to be rising in the north. Clouds sweep over the horizon, gingerly avoiding the sun's great intensity.
