Beautiful shots, Daan! I especially like #94 (so delicate with those curling edges, and I love the subtle colour of the flower, and the detail you captured, with the veins of the flower and the tiny spider!)

I turn my back to TPF for just 2 days ... and even more impressive images are posted!!

Nice work everyone!

Well, I was "your kind host photographer" and did not take any embarrassing or possible blackmail photos of anyone.

Once done with the canoe trip and in the mill, I didn't take very many, anyway, but I can tell that others took really good ones, so --- that's ok.

Only this of Hertz pretending to still be dapper and fresh...

...but just look who REALLY is the "stonger sex"!

Heike had made this wonderful quiche for us, also she and Birgit had set out the chairs and laid the table so we'd have a proper meal after all our exertions on the River Wümme! So kind of them to do this. And the mill is normally locked up, I had never been inside ever before, so this was a special thing for them to do for us!

Later, Sabine tried to give me a "Hertz's raised-eye" impersonation

Birgit even opened her home for those in need for a bathroom (only to lock herself out afterwards, poor Birgit), and I think that even inside the bathroom, Daan kept looking for bugs!

For he rarely did anything else, which surprised my father quite a bit and he wondered what on earth he might be DOING, after all!

Now ... only Friday and very few Saturday-photos to still come, but not tonight...

where in Germany will you be?

i went to Aachen, just got back yesterday.

It was really nice there, very medieval and gothic in places, lots of cathedrals and castles. Enjoyed myself very much.

I was considering trying to combine it with the meet-up but money is tight and i don't really have the confidence to travel on my own. I would definately end up lost somewhere.
