Firing speedlights with live view canon 70d.

Im having a great time practicing with my YN 560iii and iv speedlights. Firing them with the TX controller.

When I switch to live view the flash doesnt fire. I hope its possible to use them with the viewfinder. I like to articulte the screen and shoot my baby girl from the ground.

Any help is muchly appreciated.

I just read a thread that said this some thing happened on the 60D with 3rd party flashes/triggers and the solution was to disable Silent Mode. By default Canon has it enabled on either 1 or 2. Let me know if this works.
