I'm afraid you're going to have to have some more attempts and post as many photos of her as possible before we can come to any useful conclusions.

Lists the photos its easier to comment

1 - Don't like very much the pose, kinda strange. The floor isnt burnt?

2 - Nice bokeh, love the look

4 - Good light, 5*

5 - this could be the best shot if had a light a little better

8 - Want to see her hands on this one, dont like very much that crop :(

10 - hmm very hardlight? but nice pose and expression, the model helps, is beatiful...

Great shoots

Overall, I think you did fairly well. I'm not a fan of the overtly sexual poses and tight dresses, but that's just personal taste. I think you maintained a charming "island girl" theme quite nicely - flowers, bare feet, nature, sun.

I think the vignette or burned border, whatever, looks tacky. However, your signature is (thank god!) fairly discrete and does not distract in most images. I think the contrast is too high in all of these images. They appear somewhat harsh.

#1: Strangely uncomfortable-looking pose. Chopped toes. Nice background.
#2: Face and flower need more light. Crop seems too tight.
#3: Good DOF. Need more light in face. Nice comp.
#4: Nice.
#5: Chopped legs. Pose doesn't look natural. Good DOF.
#6: Lots of awkward angles. Stray foot. Meh...
#7: Face needs more light. Unnatural pose looks strained. Nice comp.
#8: Chopped arms. Face underexposed. Decent comp.
#9: Cute pose. Face underexposed. Watch that left crop - it's too tight. Good composition and DOF (I think the gentle blurring on her sunlit toes was a smart move to avoid distraction).
#10: Overexposed face. Harsh shadows. Weird pose.

Posing women with trees unfortunately evokes sexual metaphor all too often. As a prop, I think it rarely works well. Of course, if that message was your intention, then you succeeded.

Otherwise, she's a beautiful model and these photos generally flatter her nicely. :)

You're on a good track, keep the practice. And keep working on your lighting and framing. I know outdoor shoots can be tough sometimes.

I think that Cayto and Jaemie made some good comments. To add to it, some of these shots are great. As a set, I would like to see the "look" to be more harmonious. 2 and 3 are dark, and the last one is too sunny. More consistency with the editing. Great set though! :)

definitely good for a first attempt. the first time I tried to shoot MY friend, I only got him in the leg...only needed 6 stitches

Thks all for the c&c :D. More pic coming Soon :D
