First day with hummingbirds!

Today was my first day trying to snap some shots of hummingbirds.
Luckily, there were 5 or 6 that kept coming back all day and they didn't mind me standing close by, so I was able to try a few different methods

Looks pretty sharp, good job on that. But the light is flat because you used on-board flash. Next time try using off-camera flash or just a reflector.

I didn't have one to use at the time, but I have one on its way in the mail now!

Rock & roll. My wife has a feeder that we haven't put up yet but I've been wanting to try my hand at some of these with off-camera flash. The wings would be frozen for the most part, but I think it might work given the brilliant color of the subjects.
