first drift event @ evergreen this year

Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
using my D80 with the kit lens and a tinted filter since it was shooting straight towards the sun. first time taking pictures at a event like this

I like #3 a lot.


just a tip, if you want detailed C&C most members shy away if there are more than 4 photos.
 
I like #6, nice panning. I'm trying to get some practice myself. Have you tried raising your fstop and slowing down shutter speed. It'll create a nice blur background while keeping the focus point sharp, but that's with experience. Did you use a tripod? Also on the last picture, that was cropped right, not panoramic.

ah thanks for the tip. i just had a lot of photos and just put those ones up

yeah i slowed the shutter speed down and turned up the fstop but i should of did more. but no i did not use a tripod i was thinking of getting a monopod. and yes the last picture was cropped. that was on the 5/8s bank that they wont let us get to, since i was using my kit lens i wasnt able to zoom in so i just cropped it
