I've been watching a nest. This mature adult took off unexpectedly but I got em.

Canon T6s with an EF300 f4 is. 1/1000 f6.3

Quite a bit. 300mm definitely has its limitations. I have a canon tc1.4 that I've had some success with but I feel like I need a TON of light for that.
