First ever post and some pics

This is my first post on here...I just bought a Nikon D50 with 18-70mm lens last week and just learning how to use it. Before that I was using my old Nikon 950, wow what a difference.

My pics over the years:

This was in an old building in New Jersey Pine Barrens, still taken with the 950 in B&W

This is also taken with the 950, in Cape Chignecto provincial park here in Nova Scotia...

This is the very first pic I took with the D50, I was trying to squeeze between my Jetta and the ditch, since the battery died in the Jetta..I was looking at how close to the Jetta I was and not to how close to the ditch I was..ewps

This is also with the D50, pic of my dog, and I played with lightroom, no idea what i was doing, but liked the way it came out. I have never used photoshop or any other program, so I have no idea how to use them.

Thats all for now, I need to save up for a nice Macro lens now..
