First HDR (pretty bad and no time spent on it)

Hey just took this shot of a weird looking light in my sisters room. I just wanted to try HDR from a single RAW image. I cloned a light cord out on the bottom that why it looks weird down there. I wasnt really trying to make that look too good i was just trying to get a general idea of how hdr works.

any tips on what i can do to improve would help

Nice image! I wonder if you didn't mention the cord would anybody be able to tell.... I think it might have looked a little better if you centered the light in the top porton of the frame and not clipped the right side.
Keep up the experimenting.

ya i thought that too but the light was higher than i was so it was hard to center the light and it was really dark so i couldnt really see in the viewfinder if it was lined up well. Plus i was just trying it out so i didnt care too much about the composition
