First HDR try

Ok, so I tried HDR for the first time, there is something in the clouds that I am not sure how to get rid of...what do you think?

How did you set this up?
The composure, and the settings are off. I would say this appears to be just an over saturated photo.

For example a quick pull back for the Sat takes you back here

I have Photomatix and I really have no idea what to do, I played around with the settings but couldn't really get anything to look right. Do you know what that white spot in the cloud is?

I guess I'm not sure why you HDRed this particular shot since it doesn't seem like the kind of shot that would benefit.

However, that being said it looks like you didn't really bring out the various tones that would be more evident in the darker areas of the frame once "HDRed". (also the saturation is kinda off the scale)

btw... what the HELL is that thing in the clouds?
