Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Just a photo of a local jump spot, nothing special as i just wanted to try and see if i could do a hdr, i think next time i will find something better to make as my subject.

It also has watermarks on my photo as i am using a trial version which is annoying!

i think the sky is a little, too blue!

C&C?

Thanks
Dan

Doesn't look as sharp as it should be.

Shot handheld?

It looks over saturated in the colours and the "blue" sky in the background is kind of murky looking.

Personally, I aim for realism with my HDR and not the fake cartoony look. Although I have seen some fake cartoonies look pretty funky. This one is a bit in between, so it leaves me feeling a bit meh.

Its almost like I've been swimming around in a pool filled with chlorine with my eyes open.

Was this takin in the early morning ? or late at night ?

i wasnt trying to make it impressive, just trying to see if i could personally attempt one, it was on a tripod, but i rushed it and didnt set it up properly, so this may be why.

yeah i think it could do with some editing, to get rid of the merky feel.

and it was taken as it was getting dark at night, the sky was pretty grey as it was.

Dan - I probably shouldn't broadcast this too much, but if you have Photoshop CS5 or even the new Elements 9, the watermarks can be removed using the "content-aware fill" feature - I am not sure how legal this is, but it can be done - not always successful, in that the process may leave behind some indication of its use, but only to the trained eye.

One question...a lot of the vegetation seems to have an orange tinge or colour to it - is that because it is dead, or is it an artefact of some aspect of the image processing, just curious?

Cheers,

WesternGuy

I agree that it's not the most interesting composition in the world, but it certainly shows what HDR can do. You would have never gotten those shadow values from a standard-metered image.

this was the plan, not to produce an interesting image, just something to try.

and they were all dead, all dying out weed type things.
