First kinda wedding pictures

Was fooling around with some wedding stuff. Would like to start
shooting weddings, some c&c would be much appreciated. Taken with XTI with Kit lens. Thanks

The first one is great.

2nd one... um... did you use some kind of negitive effect? The dress means a lot to the bride. If the picture doesnt look like what the dress looked like, I highly doubt the picture will be liked.

number 3 has great potential, but it needs to be brightened up. Maybe add some glow. Something like this...

Thank you very good advise. The second one I had light behind it and darkened the shadows some. I will def do that on the trird one. Thanks.

Thanks, I do like that Glow effect, what did you use to get that?

#3 i agree has great potential...a little brightening and the glow works...the glow, btw, is in your filters, under diffuse glow...

the weird darkness in the second one takes it out of play....try doing something differnet to it....

#1 is too contrasty, better on a light background

If you have photoshop, go to filter... distort... diffuse glow.

This one still looks odd to me. Almost like i am looking at an xray of the dress. May be a neat effect in another picture of different clothing, but not with the wedding dress. The light shoud be shining on the dress from the front.
