Great first attempt and a dangerous subject too! In my opinion the image is a little bit underexposed and with a little bit of blurr. You may need to bump up the shutter speed to stop the action on one of those guys. More light would help lots too. Try with your flash. Great beginning

Not bad at all, I have yet to attempt macro. I like the subject matter too
I do agree about being underexposed just a bit.
