This was kind of a spur of the moment. I usually step outside before bed and look at the sky if it's clear enough and boy was it clear last night. Just some clouds visible but it was a cool crisp night.
So I grabbed my tripod and my camera and took some shots and this was my favorite one from last night.
It's not my greatest but its my first ultra wide shot of the galaxy taken with my D610 + 16-35 f/4 before. I didn't expect much but I guess I'm fortunate enough to have super no light pollution where I live which made it possible to use f/4.
You'll notice the brightly lit tree and that's light from my security light. Ugh. My neighbor moved and the new owner leaves this light on ALL NIGHT LONG. It's annoying and ruins my milky way shots. I might have to see if they will be willing to put it on a timer. But it probably won't happen.
Anyways settings are f/4, 20" sec & ISO 3200.
