First Photo Project

Hey everyone. I just finished my first photo project. This is all done in the darkroom and everything. It's very basic printing, however. We are starting to get into filters in our next project. So please be easy on me!

P.S. I know the dog has long nails!!! She acts like it's the end of the world when clippers get near her.

The nails are really distracting in the second picture to me, it's all I can look at. I like the last picture a lot.

Sharpness overall could be better. They seem a little blurry. The third one is alright. The nails in the second one could be..well..shorter, and they are very distracting. They add a touch too much threat to the picture of a nice smiling dog.

Also, on the third photo, if you shifted the entire thing to the right (so the van would be more on the left), I think it would be better. It seems a little forlorn right now.

Overall, not bad, but definitely a few things you could improve. Good work.

hmmm, i like 2 and 3, but i think both of them could use more contrast. which means shooting with a filter and developing with the red filter cranked up on the enlarger
