I don't think this is bad at all! I like the rays from the sun and I don't know if you intended to silhouette the landscape but it worked well - if it wasn't I think it would be distracting.

A little over exposed in the center, but I doubt there was much you could to it (other than bump the exposure down, which would make everything else very dark). I'm a sucker for sunbursts like this, and I like it.

Great shot!!! Did you use a blue filter or a cooling filter in PS or on the camera?

I used PS to sharpen the colours but apart from that it's not really been modified.

This is a nice photo and the rays of the sun are so clearly to be seen. Good eye to spot this, good technique to capture it! You are on your way!

Oooh, nice shot of some crepuscular rays! It is a little bright, but you're shooting directly into the sun, so I suppose that's to be expected.

Raises an interesting question actually. I have shot into the sun before with a digital camera but how are you supposed to do it with an SLR or D-SLR as it is recommended you don't look at the sun through the viewfinder...?
