first pic post.. need advice

first of all i am completely new to photography and this is my first try at it. So i am looking for any help on this.

nice beams...

may look better w 1 stop or so less exposure but i'm not sure... would put the left side into shadow but might keep the sky from blowing out and may look more dramatic... not really sure though...

your sky is blown out to white. Your exposure may be to high.

your first one looks like a great scene. As the others have said, your sky is a little blown out. Might be worth taking two images, one with a stepped down exposure, and replacing the sky in the first one with the less exposed sky.
