So I'm no pro, but I figured maybe I could get more of a critique up here instead of the general gallery. Only time shall tell, please do enjoy though.
 
In this case, I don't think the wide angle lens is working to your advantage. The nose looks big and the face looks round.
 
wide angle for portraits makes me cringe, i think people are more attracted to the effect rather than the actual photo they are making with it, its not flattering to the subject.

the highlights are blown out also, but the eyes look amazing :D keep at it :D
 
I too like the conversion, and the eyes look really good as well! But, I'm with the previous posters, I don't think the wide angle is very flattering here. And, I even love big noses;)
 
The eyes are great, but the wide angle kills the image. I like to shoot at around 80mm (on digital) for portraits.
