#1 Shooting through a fence can sometimes work, especially if the fence is relevant. In this shot, I don't see the relevance, so you should not shoot through the fence. Otherwise, not much in the composition to comment on.

#2 There is a strange blue line that is apparently some artifact of mishandling the film. Otherwise, not much in the composition to comment on.

#3 This portrait misses on several counts.

Have to agree with Designer...spot on critique.

Welcome! Stick around... you can learn a lot!

Holy bat poop, Cowman! Where are my manners?!?

Welcome from So. Illinois!

You will get better, more useful critique if you allow editing.

AND there is no need to post images at maximum 'quality'.
That only makes the files bigger and doesn't improve the image quality as viewed on screen.
Keep your file size to 300 kb for a screen size image by saving at medium quality

Welcome. I have to agree with the others here. You may be able to improve the portrait to make it a nice, fun, snapshot, but I'm afraid that's all I have for you.

You need to get rid of stuff that allows the eye to drift away from what you want the viewer to see and then expose so the center of interest is well-exposed.

Decide what you want to take a picture of and then frame and compose for that.
In this case you want people to look at the eye so frame and expose for that.
