I like the B&W images.
Love the feel of that b&w flower shot even though the whites are a bit blown out.
I'd also stay away from placing the main subjects right in the dead center of the frame.

I like the one of the cat, and that's saying a lot because I can't stand cats. Looks good so far, have fun with the new camera!
