Im new to this forum. I have reciently gotten interested in photography and just have a semi-basic camera. I think these two are my best pictures, so far atleast.

and

You can edit them and tell me what I should adjust. The F/ setting on my camera only goes up to F/8 though so, I cant use a really high apperature setting.

Any help would be appriciated!

I like the first picture a lot. Even more important is that you saw the image and made it correctly.

Second one doesn't do much for me and I wonder what you are after with this picture.

(PS- I live in Howard County also - in KC, Columbia)

The second one was just something that I saw today and looked cool. I live in Ellicott City close to the home depot and giant on rt. 40.

I just found this one too that I think is pretty good.

Or playing with the shutter speed and water with.

As you progress in photography, the most desireable skill is learning what makes a good photograph - as opposed to a snapshot.

Hi,

The beer bottle shot shows you have a good imagination, always useful in photography

The best thing you can do is keep trying different things as they come into your head. It's worth reading a little, in books or on some of the excellent websites around - always useful to know a few technical things & a few of the so called "rules of photography". It all helps to improve your shots

I really like the flattend beer bottle. Great eye.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but for me the text is distracting. Also in your other pictures the text seems missplaced...

Yeah the text in the first one was just trying a new effect in photoshop. The beer bottle was just luck that I got it like that. I wasnt gonna take a picture of it but, then decided too for some reason. Thanks for all your comments.

I like the first shot aswell. There many photos of the animals, skies or waterfall. But your first shot is unique.
