First Senior Shoot I've done beyond my own Kids

Yeah looking at #2 (Right) it maaay be a bit heavily softened as well, as I said I just ran it through real fast and maybe it helps notice the difference.

Honestly this kid doesn't have that bad a complexion, I've done shoots like this for friends with a lot worse. an original sized .tiff and a good 15-20minutes of patch/clone work you could make this kid look like an abercrombie model (his skin, at least)

keep learning and taking pictures! :D

To me it seems like you missed the focus on the original, which certainly won't help. Were you focusing on the face with the camera?

Yes, shouldn't I have?

.. oh wait... you probably mean I was supposed to but failed to

Here's my edit. Feel free to use it how you like, if you like.

Yes, you should (in 99% of the cases) be focusing on the face in portraits. I won't ever say always, though. There's always a situation that will require exactly what you say won't ever be required.

Thank you very much. That looks great as well! I need to practice on removing the redness and not wiping the face clean. Thanks everyone!

ahh.. haha, I just caught your reply post. Thanks for everything! :)
