First Shot From The D2H

I'm stoked,
The body arrived today so I decided to take it down to the intercoastal this afternoon for some sample shots. I fastened the old Nikkor 300mm f4 and left the monopod in the car.
I got a few yards into the small park and was approached by another curious egret. I love these little bastards, they aren't the least bit timid and make great test shot subjects.
I burned through a 1gb card in about twenty minutes, it goes fast at eight frames per second and the H has a hair trigger.
I'm pleased with the initial results, what do you think?

Well Done Raindog. I like this shot...and beings it the first one out of a brand new camera, stunning. I just got my new Mark II the other day...and at 8 fps...it don't take long to burn through a gig card does it?
