First try with lighting equipment...

Hey all, havent posted in a while but I've been wanting to get these up here. I was practicing with my new lighting equipment (x800 strobe, umbralla) I had absolutley NO idea what I was doing. My puppy Kinjo is my best model. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

I shot through the umbrella at my white wall. I didnt intend for the soft focus and actually though they looked rather sharp. What do others think about the focus?

The second with the dog looking so cute is blurred. It is quite soft and shows signs of motion blur, too (look at his tag). But his expression is really sweet in that one. Congrats to your new lighting equipment.
