I'm not a big fan of the first one, there doesn't really seem to be a subject.

On the second though there is a quite obvious subject, but more could be made of it by cropping just above her head. That will still leave part of the scooter and road in the shot, but you may be able to clone those out.

Interesting... nice choice of B&W for both. Check the horizontal lines on the top one; they seem a bit askew and it's driving my eyes nuts.

LOL yeah the skewing is much more noticeable on the computer screen than when printed. You can't rotate the screen!
that'll be photoshopped. in the printed versions it was fixed with the enlarger.
tone seems a bit off in both. crappy cheap neg scanner...
