Fishing rod, C&C

Too many people fishing in a small boat so I did what I do best, take pictures. I think this one is interesting but am looking for comments. I know her knuckles are blown out but I like the rest. C & C?

My favorite part of this photo is the scribble of fishing line. I might have tried to make it stand out more in PP.
If I have a nit to pick it would be the seemingly passive character of the hand and rod.
The horizontals and lack of any sense of motion in the photo overpowers the droplets of water with respect to imparting any sense of action.

The photo seems to "just" miss. Unfortunately, I think it's one of those types of shots that needs to not miss at all.

I agree that the shot is 'close.' Not that it would make it a winner, but I'd crop out the dark sleeve band at the left and clone out the light 'blob just right of and below center. It's a shame that the line isn't just a bit closer to being in focus.
