I kinda like the second more, the blue sky brightens the picture up a bit.

i would like #1 a lot if he was framed against the sky, if possible.

i like the 2nd one too cuz of the bluer sky. gives a more suddle vivid feel

Yea like #2. It seems to pull your eye across the photo following the water and clouds.
