Flash for D90

Hey guys. I am looking to get an external flash for my D90. I do mostly wildlife photography, but also people and macro. I would appreciate both advice on extravagant lighting however my real budget is under 200, but I am amazing at finding great deals on equipment, so please include stuff more expensive than that.

Take a look at the Nissin Di622 and Di866 (I prefer the Di866 with full wireless TTL support). The Di866 is more expensive, but so worth it... it's probably 90% of the SB-900 at a much lower cost.

If you find an insane deal, please let me now - I'd love to order one or two more.

You need a specialized kind of light for macro, and another for everything else.

For Macro: Nikon R1C1 Wireless Close-Up Speedlight System 4803 B&H Photo

For everything else: Nikon SB-600 AF Speedlight i-TTL Shoe Mount Flash 4802 B&H Photo or a 3rd party equivelant.

Which 3rd party options work for you depend on you needing iTTL or not.

only about $50 online!

it wont do ttl meter on the d90, but who cares? with digital its so easy to check exposure. The 285 does have a sensor on it for flash metering if you need it.

the vivitar 285 flashes are the most popular pro flashes of all time for good reason.
