Flash for Olympus E-520

Hi.

I've got an Olympus E-520 and would really like a powerfull flash
I have my eyes on:

Metz Mecablitz 58 AF-1
&
Olympus FL-50R

Olympus own flash can be controlled remote, but I don't know how much I would use it?
But the Metz flash is less expensive, but I don't know if the flash would communicate with the camera as good as olympus own.

What would you guys recommend?
