Hi there. New to the site, so apologies if this is in the wrong section.

I'm looking to buy a flash that would work on my Olympus OM2n and my Pentax 645n. I'm a student and quite broke so it would be great to buy one that would work with both cameras.

I have a Cobra 440 AF and that works with my Olympus and a Holga 120GN that I use. It wont fire with my Pentax.

Can you guys give me some advice? Many thanks.

Metz 45 ct/cl 4. It uses a PC cable or you can go wireless using the PC connectors.

Set it to the f stop you want on auto-thyristor, stay within the range it says and you're good to go.

No worries, no hassle, on camera or off.

It depends on how much compatibility you want between your flash and your cameras' flash automation features. Since you have a flash that works with your Olympus why not buy a Pentax flash for your 645N? I see Pentax AF-series flash units selling on eBay for about $20-$40. One sold for $13 recently. Is this too much for your budget?
