Flash of Light in Pics

Hello All, hoping someone can help. Apologies if I am posting in wrong forum.
I have Canon T6i. I've been using it for about 2 years now and since yesterday, every pic I take has a flash of light on one side. I tried clearing all settings, replacing lenses, replacing battery and good old kicking the device but no luck. Pic is the same with or without flash and its happening in all shooting modes. I don't recall dropping or otherwise damaging the camera.

Have you tried replacing the memory card?

looks like a classic Canon broken shutter light leak issue:

although we all know only Nikon has defects, so who knows what it could be.
