Hi all,

I am in the marketplace to get a flashgun but here's the issue.

I have less than £120 budget for it.

Here are the items I have found so advice on what to get are welcomed.

Polaroid PL144AZ Power-Zoom Shoe Mount Flashgun for Canon

Yongnuo YN560-II Speedlite

I will be using it with my Canon EOS 7D, 18-55mm lens, 55-250 lens, and 50mm lens. Mostly I want to use it either on the camera for the odd portrait, to the side for the same thing or off camera for macro and waterdrops etc.

Or does anyone have any other suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

I did not see any mention of TTL compatibility on the Yongnuo unit. If it is, then this Yongnuo flash is less expensive, allowing you to purchase two of them under your budget. Lots of people poo-poo the idea of TTL flash, but I think it is just the thing for anyone who hasn't tried it before. Later, after you have some experience with flash, you can always use them in manual mode.

The Yongnuo page says the E-TTL is coming soon.
