Florida Scrub Jays

These are birds only found in the state of Florida and mostly in the area where I got these two, near or around Merritt Island. I was fortunate to find four or five of them in adjacent trees, so pretty easy pickings, save the brutal attack by the killer mosquitoes...oh my, were they just horrible.

Actually, right behind the entrance station...could have thrown a rock to the ranger. Take lots of mosquito repellent and even a hat net if you can find one. I wish I had a whole net suit....

I can imagine, hoping to get back up there before the move to AZ in a few weeks.
