This is my first post on this forum. I've been into photography for about 5 years now, but am now just getting back into it after about a year of slacking off. Anyways, these are some of the first pictures I've taken in a while so I'd really appreciate some critiques. Thanks!

HI!

I'm very new here as well, so I don't know what kind of weight I swing here, but welcome nonetheless.
I am also a very, very new photographer, so I can't really help with the critique, although I must say, I really like that macro shot of the flower. That sort of thing always interested me.

Now, my main reason for posting:
How did you get the bulbous affect in images 4 and 7? It's a lens right?
Can you just tell me a little bit about that sort of element, cause I love the affect but I don't know how to get it.
