Flower C&C

Ok, I really like this shot but the white edges around the flower really bug me for some reason. Anyone able to fix it? I've tried and failed miserably. Also, C&C would be nice. Thanks

The white area looks like blur, and you can't fix blur.

I shot this at 1/250 with IS on, though. Do you mean like its out of focus or something? Or did I actually get blur at 1/250?

Looks like your dof wasnt deep enough. Next time try to shoot at a higher F/#.

I figured that mightve been it. I tried getting the surrounding flowers out of focus but I guess I went too far.

What is it that you find favorable about this photo?

I personally feel the dof is way to shallow, and the color of the flower is so similar that it just kind of blends into one, thing.

The perspective especially flattens the flower out.. but maybe that was the intention.
