Flower... walking in to work

As I was walking into work, I saw this pretty flower in the landscaping box right out side the employees entrance. I had about 2 seconds to shoot it, on a 4 year old point & shoot. If I had more time or real equipment, I could have cleaned up the flower a bit (removed the dead husk) and other housekeeping and made a really nice shot.

As it is, it's just a snapshot.

Nice picture.. I love flower pictures..

Try next time (if your camera can) to take a nice macro shot of the water dripping from the petal of the flower.. that'd be nice, work with the water, you know? Dont just have it (the picture) show: Hey, im a pretty flower, i have water on my btw.. try to make it say: Hey, im a pretty flower, and the water emphasises it more..

I know its odd wording, but seriously, tell me what you think of my advice

The advice is fine...

The pix is shot with a crude and cheap 3 year old point & shoot without an optical zoom lens... and I was almost late to work as it was...

I use the old point & shoot to take pictures of houses (I work for an insurance company) and it's all I had with me.
