An early attempt at photography in "iffy" conditions. Taken one wintry morning down by the local canal. It might have looked a bit more atmospheric, if I'd arrived a few minutes earlier before the sun started burning the murk away.

Very moody and promising. The building on the right is too readily visible and also too colorful relative to the rest of the scene. This could work with the building just cropped out, leaving the two smaller and further trees on the right and part of the tops of the other trees. If you don't want to crop, which I could understand because this is a good aspect ratio for the scene, you could desaturate the building and maybe darken it a little.
 
I'm for desaturating the building and toning it down a bit

then... I'll like it ;)

That's OK, I'll fiddle about with it a bit more. Incidentally the building on the right is an outbuilding of some sort associated with a big house that belonged until recently to Kate Bush.
