Ford Zodiac

Just back from a walk and spotted this very rare beast - 1960’s (?) I believe Ford (UK) Zodiac.

The two big Ford models in the UK before the Granada were the Zephyr and Zodiac both 6 cylinder with the Zephyr being 2.5 and Zodiac 3.0.

My father had one when I was very young in a pale honey colour, first time I’ve seen one in decades.

Cool car. That one is the Zodiac Mark IV made between 1966-1972. I do not see the Executive badge so this might be the standard IV.

A zoom on the back confirms ‘Executive’, sounds like you know your old Fords!

Very nice old vehicle reminds me of when I was young.....

There was also the 2 litre V4 available in the Zephyr

Only the Executive had the cross hair badge on the front grille, and the chrome waistline trim, the standard Zodiac had neither
