A bench i found in the ground of an Abbey. I tryed experimenting with the DOF. Sorry the quality isnt great, i scanned it in from a film shot :)

I like it! Got a good autumnal feel to it with the leaves, and I think you've got away with abandoning the rule of thirds! :)

Cool shot! I like this. And even though the bench is overall centered, you really do have a lot of thirds involved. The bench back is along the left vertical, the arms along the top horizontal and the seat long the bottom, and the arms curl at the right vertical. The bench isn't a solid box, so there's a lot going on along those lines. I like your choice of focal point and how much DOF you used too. :thumbup:
