Hi all..

Took some pics with my new Nikon D5200 whilst my car was entered into Frankie's Car Fest in aid of their Hospice charity. My previous camera was a Nikon D60 and has served me well since 2009.. but our young lad (he's 8) has just started getting more into taking photos, so figured it'd be a good time to upgrade and pass on my D60 at xmas (he's taken some great pics albeit in full-auto mode currently as a test and currently using my Nikon Coolpix to experiment with  ).

Here's a few that were taken on Sunday (374 were taken in total). I tried to vary the compositions and processing styles to create dynamic effect. Personally, I'm really happy with the results of the D5200 and think these are the best I've taken to date, but most definitely open to C&C as I'm far from being a pro or anything closse

All taken with the D5200 and 18-55mm kit lens and any post in Lightroom.

#1 (my first post here in 2012 was of our youngest at 23 weeks.. now he's adopted my old Canon point-and-shoot and loves taking snaps like his bigger bro)

That's a whole lotta Focus in #9 haha

Hahah... indeed! Mine's the blue one nearest the camera on the left.. we went in convoy (14 of us I think it was) as part of the Focus RS Owners Club :)

I always enjoy a classic mini in rally trim, especially in gravel spec.

Indeed! Looking to get my 1990 Mini back on the road this year for the 30th Anniversary London to Brighton Mini Run, although it won't be gravel spec.. we are planning to go down the rally spec path though!

Cheers..

Love these shots and the one with the Ford Cortina sure brought up memories from my childhood many years ago but I do have to say the wheel seem to be weirdly placed at the wrong side of the cars..................very weird!!!

Some nice shots in there -- #1 is really cute, and I liked #3 & #9, too. Well done.

Thanks for your comments lads

Hahahah

I too love the Cortina (actually, as much as I love my 2010 Focus RS... I'd swap it in a heartbeat for a Mk1 / 2 Lotus Cortina or a Mk1 Escort Mexico!). The 1600E's are pretty rare.

Thank you sir!
