Freaky Beetle

I went out for a couple walks yesterday and found this ancient looking beetle, not positive what this guy is other than freaky lol
I tried to look it up and the closest I came was a Wheel Bug, it looked similar and apparently has a nasty bite, glad I didn't touch it or tick it off lol!.

Nice shot, but I will bet that if you looked up "ugly bug" in the dictionary, there might be a picture of this thing - what ever it is. :mrgreen:

Looks like an Assassin bug.. they can be wicked (to other bugs)! Reduviidae - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
