What is this so called live feed their switching to and is this the end of Sports Photographers?

Someone will still be making those professional sports images, but it won't be the freelance photographers Reuters had been using here in North America.

Editorial photography jobs continue to vanish into thin air.

Reuters stopped covering professional football in Canada back in June. It really isn't a good situation for all those people that are hoping to shoot sports at a higher level some day, come to think of it, it really isn't a good situation for a lot of people that are hoping to work in the photo business. Coming to a newspaper soon, just a bunch of ads and words, read them before the rest of the papers vanish as well.

I was unaware Reuters was even shooting sports anymore. I certainly haven't run into anyone shooting for them.
