Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Have had point and shoot cameras all my life....great for simple shots, but I am tired of them and want to WOW people with my pictures.

I have to start from the bottom and go up. Question is which camera should I be looking at that is a good novice/intermediate camera? I am a very quick learner so something more intermediate would be great, because I like a challenge and will toy with the camera for months on end until I understand it fully (I am an electronic gadget person that learns fast)

How is this one?
NIKON

photography isnt just about gadgets and knowing what button does what, its about usin a combination of the buttons to produce the image you want, a good book to help you learn is understanding exposure, rent it at the library or buy it, you wont regret it. Also I found google was my best friend while I read my manual as I was unsure what many words ment LOL

as for cameras, it depends what you want to do with your pictures, are you considering a career in photography, or is this a hobby. the eos xt range is beginer/cheaper, then you have the 10, 20 30 and 40d's that are mid range and can be used in proffesional work ( i use my 30d for a hoby) and then you have the mark 1 2 and 3 for those who have money and work proffesionally (generally)

how ever that being said, if you good lenses you will get quality pictures with most cameras.

I started with an advance point and shoot, that gave me understanding about how things work then I upgraded to the DSLR.

I word of advice go into the store and hold the cameras see how the controls feel in your hands. Choosing a camera is personal to you, depending on cost and feel. No one on here will be able to advise if you should o nikon, canon, olympus etc, becasue only you really know what feels best.

If you are un sure about the difference between two cameras, there are plenty of people on here who can answer that for you!!

Welcome to the forum and happy shooting )

oh and i forgot to say, two good online retailers are bandhvideo.com and adorama.com-I have used both of these, If you are unsure if a website is reputable be sure to check out reselleratings.com
